Thank you to all of the voters who turned out to support me and the Democratic team.
Although I fell short in my bid for Mayor, the Democratic team did have a successful outcome with all six Board of Education candidates being elected, increasing the Democratic control by a 6-3 margin.
We also increased the number of members on the Board of Apportionment & Taxation by one, making it an even split of 5 members from each party.
In addition, we were successful in winning one additional seat on the Board of Aldermen when compared to the last election.
We need your continued to support in our effort to make Derby a place we can all be proud to call home.
